Check & Clean Service for Camera

JAS Tekniikka's Check and Clean Service is designed for professional photographers and active photography enthusiasts who need to know the condition of the most important tool and want to take care of it for future shooting as well. Check and Clean Service is ment to be done at least annually, depending on how much and under what conditions you are shooting.

THE CAMERA CHECK & CLEAN SERVICE INCLUDES

• Check of the camera's functions and test run (Focus, exposure, buttons, flash, all card slots, USB connection, image storage and playback, video recording, and audio recording and playback).
• Software version update to the latest version.
• Shutter count check*
• Error memory reading*
• External cleaning of the camera (Body parts, buttons, screens, viewfinder loop, hot shoe).
• Cleaning of the mirror and mirror box (For mirrorless cameras, cleaning of the sensor cavity).
• Viewfinder cleaning.
• Sensor cleaning using manufacturer-approved agents and ionized compressed air, as well as an inspection.
• Technician-signed inspection checklist.

If we detect any issues with your camera, you will also receive a verbal cost estimate for the repairs at no additional charge.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Our aim is to have the same schedule for Check & Clean as we have for sensor cleaning.
• Work and cleaning that requires disassembly of the camera, as well as work with measuring equipment, according to a separate cost estimate.
• When you deliver the camera for maintenance, please remember to tell us if you have already bought it in advance from our online store. Also state the order number you received when ordering.
• You can bring your camera to our store in Turku or Helsinki for service or sent it to us by post (in Finland). Shipping costs will be charged (€6.95 / direction in Finland). Choose delivery method in the shopping cart. Here you can find instructions for shipping.
